I will be enamelling a copper seal box lid replica at Fishbourne Roman Palace in a one day workshop on the 1st June this summer 2019. I learnt about the 2000 year old postal system which the Romans created by producing small one penny sized boxes for their letters and tablets, whilst I completed my work experience for my metal conservation course at West Dean College. We will be making pendants based on the original seal box design. Information can be found at : https://sussexpast.co.uk/Enamel in a day The Sussex Archaeological Society
